Why Everly

Therapy that fits into your life, not the other way around.

Most speech therapy options in Greater Boston mean long waitlists, sitting in after-school traffic, and sessions your child has to get through before dinner. Everly was built specifically to fix this problem by drawing on local talent right in your neighborhood.

  • No sitting in traffic

No commutes, no clinic waiting rooms. Sessions happen where your child is already comfortable, which makes a measurable difference in engagement and progress.

  • You're part of the process

Parent participation is built into every Everly session. You'll understand exactly what your child is working on and how to reinforce it between sessions.

  • Matched to your child's exact needs

Every therapist in our network specializes in specific areas. We don't just send the first available person. We find the right one.

  • Every therapist is vetted and licensed

All Everly SLPs are Massachusetts-licensed, background-checked, and credentialed. We only partner with therapists we trust.

Common Questions

Questions families ask us before getting started

Do you need a doctor's referral to get started? +
No referral required. You can reach out directly and we'll take it from there. If your pediatrician has flagged a concern, that context is helpful to share, but it's not a prerequisite to getting started.
Does Everly accept insurance? +
Everly services are private pay only and we do not bill insurance directly. We provide monthly superbills you can submit to your insurer for potential partial reimbursement. Many families also pay using HSA or FSA funds.
How quickly can we get our first session? +
After you complete the intake form, we aim to contact you within 48 hours. First sessions are typically scheduled within the same week or the following week, depending on scheduling preferences and availability in your area.
Do you serve my town in Greater Boston? +
We currently serve families across Greater Boston including Newton, Brookline, Arlington, Lexington, Wellesley, Needham, Waltham, Watertown, Belmont, Winchester, and many surrounding towns. Virtual sessions are available throughout Massachusetts.
How are therapists matched to my child? +
We match based on your child's specific diagnosis or area of need, the therapist's specialty and experience, your location, and your scheduling preferences. The goal is a match that sets your child up for real progress, not just the first available person.
Can parents be present during sessions? +
Not just allowed, actively encouraged. Parent participation is a core part of the Everly model. Being in the room, understanding your child's goals, and knowing how to reinforce progress at home is one of the biggest drivers of faster outcomes.
What ages do you work with? +
Everly primarily serves pediatric clients from toddlers (18 months) through school-age children. If you have a child outside this range, reach out and we'll do our best to connect you with the right resource.
What is the difference between an evaluation and a regular session? +
The initial evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of your child's speech and language abilities. It results in a written summary, a diagnosis or description of areas of need, and a recommended treatment plan. Regular sessions then follow that plan week to week.
