How am I matched with clients?

We have intake forms for both clients and providers. We match the provider’s interests/area of expertise, schedule, location/commute, etc. with client profiles, based on the information from these forms. When we propose a client to you, you always have the option to accept or decline the client.

What is a 1099 independent contractor?

An independent contractor is someone who works for themselves rather than being employed by a company. As an independent contractor, you have total freedom to choose which clients you work with, when you work, and how much you want to work. Think of it like being a freelancer - you’re your own boss!

What do I need to have in place to become an independent contractor with Everly?

Everly requires our providers to have their state license in their respective field as well as their own professional liability insurance policy.

Do I need to get a business license or register my business with the state?

In the state of Massachusetts, a business license is not required to provide speech therapy services and sole proprietors are not required to formally register with the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
